"Kitaoneno-Yu!" hot spa is located at the northern gerende of Happo-one,"Kitaone" 1200m in altitude.




Small bus tub.




If it is good weather,you can get fine view of mountains.

The North Face shop.

Near the Hakuba Station,New shop of "The North Face" named "THE NORTH FACE GRAVITY HAKUBA" has been opened.

A lot of gears and clothes are there.






There is a good cafe and free space upstairs of the shop.Good coffe and some softdrinks snacks.
At free space you can read some books about nature and mountains.

Usagidaira Cafe terrace

Wood Terrace is placed on the top of Usagidaira Gerende.Just around ADAM gondola Usagidaira station.



You can see a beautiful view of the Hakuba village from this wooden terrace.




Cafe is OPEN inside of the station building.Coffee and some soft drink,alcohol,Japanese Soba,curry,or some meals are served.






You can get cool wind and good view there.

Free WiFi is available in this cafe.

From Shirakaba to Usagidaira takes about 8min.







Cabin carries 4~6 persons.
You can get good view about Japan Alps mountains, and Hakuba village.

Small bakery shop at Misorano area.

There is a very small bakery in Kamishiro, south of Misorano, Hakuba village.






Various homemade breads are there.
They are simple but Good breads.

Chocolate bread and Campagne.About 200yen each.


Inside of the bread is filled with sweet and bitter delicious chocolate.

Soba restaurant Futaba Marusa

A good Japanese soba restaurant is at North of the Hakuba station(JR) aside of R148.




Grand menu.
Japanese soba and some kind of bowls of rice. Pork or chicken cutlet,tempuras are upon the rice in a bowl.




"Ten-zaru soba".

This is Japanese soba noodle in cold style, with several tempura.Most popular and most recommended among Japanese.
Tempuras are just cooked and delicious.
Seasonal fresh vegetables,shrimp are cooked to tempura.



"How to eat SOBA in correct way" is going to be described on the next article.
